Get to Reading!

Our parish is full of little treasures that are designed to help you in your walk with the Lord. It could be our Monday Bible Study that breaks down the context and deeper meaning of the coming Sunday’s readings. It might be the Mary Garden tucked between the Church and the Parish Office. It could be the free access to Formed.org the parish gives to every parishioner. Or it could be the parish library.

That’s right. We have a parish library!

I just finished moving it to the former bookstore (right next to our parish office). It is divided into simple categories like Jesus, Popes, Saints, Grief, Apologetics, Mary, Catholic Living, and more! Books by authors like GK Chesterton, Scott Hahn, Mother Angelica, Thomas Aquinas, Mother Teresa, Fr. Michael Gaitley, Peter Kreeft, Matthew Kelly, and more! Check it out!

No. Really. Any time the front desk is open, drop in and (self) check out a book. There are SO MANY that you may find helpful...

Okay...maybe there aren’t THAT many books. But there are enough to keep you busy for quite awhile.

So—here in the heat of the Arizona summer—why not make the quick drive over to the parish, enjoy the air conditioning, and find a book that might have eternal consequences for your faith?

There aren’t many better uses of your time.
