Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)
The OCIA is a process for unbaptized adult individuals seeking to receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist) in the Catholic Church.
Considering joining the Catholic Church?
Would you like to learn more about the Catholic Faith?
Do you believe you may be called to become Catholic?
Do you believe the Catholic Church may offer you what you have been seeking?
Are you curious as to how the Catholic Church will lead you to communion with Jesus Christ?
Those baptized in a Christian communion outside the Catholic Church who seek full communion with the Catholic Church prepare, through instruction in the OCIA process, to receive Confirmation and Eucharist.
The Order of Christian Initiation of Children (OCIC)
Children 7 and above in need of baptism, or who were baptized in another Christian faith, participate in the Order of Christian Initiation of Children.
To set up a meeting to inquire about entering the OCIA or OCIC process, please contact the Faith Formation Department.
