Parish Advent Project Benefiting St. Agnes & St. Charles Catholic Schools

Distribution of Envelopes for Parish Advent Project at all Masses the weekend of Nov 23/24.

Our Lady of Joy continues our tradition of providing Christmas presents to the students at St. Agnes Catholic School in Phoenix and St. Charles Apache Mission School on the San Carlos Reservation. This marks our 16th year of support for St. Agnes students and the 22nd year of supporting students at St. Charles.

We will conduct a cash/check drive at all Masses on the weekends of Nov 23/24 and Nov 30/Dec 1. Envelopes will be may be returned to the collection basket or the parish office. Please write “Advent Project” on your check’s Memo line.

The teachers at these schools will determine the wants and needs for their students at each grade level. For many of the children, these will be the only Christmas presents they receive. With your help, we will make this Christmas the best one yet for the students in these underserved communities.
