It’s back-to-school for the students (grades K-6) of St. Charles Apache Mission School in San Carlos, AZ. They have many needs, and we can help!
The children need Backpacks, 3-ring binders, scissors, construction paper, crayons, 2-pocket folders, pencils, spiral notebooks, rulers, erasers, glue, glue sticks, and post-its. Also, school uniforms! Khaki or navy skirts, pants, jumpers, shorts and collared shirts in white or red, all sizes especially XL, available at JC Penney, Walmart, Target, Amazon, etc.
The teachers need Antibacterial wipes, tissues, copy paper (white & multicolored), card stock, labels, large easel post-it pads, dry erase markers, broom/dustpans, and medium-size folding tables (approx 48 x 24 x 34 high.) Drop off containers will be placed in the Parish Office reception area starting Jul 9. Donations will also be accepted in the Church Courtyard before and after Masses on Jul 14-15 and Jul 21-22. It is our hope to get all of the students new supplies for the upcoming year.
Cash donations are also accepted. Please make your check payable to Our Lady of Joy Catholic Church. (In the memo, please annotate St. Charles Apache Mission.)
