The Death Needs to Stop

I was honored to participate in the Arizona March for Life last weekend. I was joined by Bishop Olmsted, Fr. Jess, Fr. Kurt, Laura Hicks, many parishioners, my wife, and daughter. Oh...and there were approximately 4,500 others from across the state.

Funny might have missed it in most of the local media. I’m afraid it is because most of the local media ignored it.

You might imagine this is a rather personal issue for me, since my baby girl’s birth mom chose life and walked a heroic path of carrying Georgiana for nine months before giving Maryrose and I the awesome gift and responsibility of carrying her for the rest of her life.

The thing about abortion is - it is personal for all of us whether we realize it or not. Since abortion was legalized, we’ve lost more than 60,000,000 friends and family.

In Psalm 68, we discover something vital about our God. He is referred to as the Father of the fatherless. Abortion breaks our Father’s heart.

The death needs to stop. (I’ll address proper conversation with those who disagree very soon.)
